Hateruma community of red tiled roof

Hateruma Island is called as “Paipatiroma” and is as manned island at the southernmost tip in Japan. Fukugi trees and the stone wall which was made from the Ryukyu limestone are surrounding the houses with red tiled-roof, and traditional scenery is left in the community of the island. And, it is the peaceful scenery that the sugarcane field spreads around the community.
