Boukotsurumame is a type of legume, which distributes over Taiwan, Philippines, Micronesia, and Australia. In Japan, it grows on the cliffs and the plains of Okierabu Island and the coasts of Ie Island in the Ryukyu Islands. Since the numbers of this legume were few to start with, and the plant is on the verge of extinction, there is hardly any data on Boukotsurumame.
