Scenic spots in the outlying islands around the main island of Okinawa Oha lsland
Oh-ha Island is located 400 km away in the east of Ouu Island and also called East Ouu. At the end of The Meiji Period, two households moved in from Tonaki Island. Although until 1960, the population increased up to 134 in number, more and more residents moved out Okinawa Island. As of 2002, three household stays on the island. The lifestyle on Oh-ha Island has remained the same for a long time. In the west of the island, white sand beach, Hateno- Hama (beach on the edge) spreads 7km in length and the area is famous among people who enjoy scuba diving and fishing.
