Plaque on the Second Floor of the Seiden;
In the Ryukyu Kingdom, calligraphic letters from Chinese emperors offered to the kings of the Ryukyus were made into a plaque and hung on the second floor of the Seiden. Nine such letters are known to have been hung; however, none of the originals exists now. One of them is the "Chuzan Seido" plaque written by Emperor Koki in 1683 and given to King Sho Tei, which was restored in 1995 based on studies of reference materials.
