1936 Born into a farming household in Janagusuku, Ogimi Village. Grandmother and mother weaved Bashofu textile.
1959 Graduated Arts and Crafts Department, Faculty of Arts and Science, University of the Ryukyus. Entered Bembo Co., Ltd.
1964 Held first individual exhibition in Okinawa; Continued until 1991, a total of 27 times
1967 Became a judge and a member of OKITEN.
1968 Retired from Bembo Co., Ltd. and opened Maeda Lacquer Art Studio; member of the Kyushu Craft Designers Association; part-time instructor at the University of the Ryukyus
1969 Received 3rd Okinawa Times Awards for Fine Arts Encouragement
1975 Council Member for promoting craft industry in Okinawa Prefecture
1976 Opened art show exclusively on Chinkin technique. (Omine Art Museum )

1980 Received the 14th Okinawa Times Award for Fine Arts Grand Prize

1992 Received award from Minister of International Trade and Industry for distinguished craft education; worked on the project for reproducing the Usasuka (king's throne), each castle gate's plaques and the king's throne at Shuri Castle; lacquer decoration on Fukushu garden in Naha City; part-time instructor at Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts
1993 Reproduced red-lacquer Raden chair of King Sho Shin
1995 Received achievement award for promoting Okinawa's lacquer at Okinawa Times Arts and Culture Awards
