The change in syllable is another characteristic of the lyrics. The first half of the lyrics is in 8-6 Ryukyuan poetry style. This changes to 7-5 Japanese poetry style in the latter half. Wakamatsu's desperate emotions are skillfully expressed by the subtle lessening in the lyrical syllables. The capability of the author, which absorbs Japanese literature and fully utilizes it as an original means of expression, is displayed here .
