Kumiodori became a regular entertainment for the Sapposhi envoys. Furthermore, occasions for performing Kumiodori expanded and it became staged at various occasions such as the "Gozen Shinjo," a party held to thank concerned staff for being able to safely see the envoys off. Chokun's followers made new Kumiodori and fresh talent blossomed.
