Ufuaragusukuuekata who has known the plot sets about his work to support Prince Shogen in accordance with the late king's will. He is determined to fight against the enemy. The conflict between the two parties over the heir of the throne brings about the verge of war. Predicting his party cannot win a victory, Ufuaragusuku who is insisting justice is so mortified to see Shogen not speak that a tear falls down his cheek. He is about to commit harakiri apologizing he has disturbed people, when the prince recites a poem.
