[Biographical outline]
Born in Naha city. Became a pupil of Chojun Miyagi (Naha-te)
in 1927. Established Okinawa Karate-do Goju-kai and became
President in 1956. Made Vice President of Okinawa-ken Karate-do
Renmei in 1967 and President of Okinawa-ken Karate-do Renmei
in 1973. Became advisor to Okinawa-ken Karate-do Renmei in
1975 and Counselor of Okinawa-ken Karate-do Renmei, and Honorary
President of All Okinawa Karate-do Goju-ryu Goju-kai in 1983.
Died in 2003 at age 92
