  | [Biographical outline] Born in Chinen Village. Became a pupil of Chotoku Kyan (Shuri-te) in 1937. Became Vice President of the Okinawa Headquarters of the All-Japan karate-do Federation in 1960 and Vice President of Joint Association of Okinawa Karate-do in 1965. Elected President of All-Okinawa Karate-do Renmei in 1983. Performed enbu demonstration in the ceremony at the Martial Arts Hall in Fuzhou City, China in 1985. Made counselor of All Okinawa Karate-do Renmei in 1997.
