It is a “submarine remains” resting in the sea of Yonaguni. There is some evidence that this structure can be thought of as an artifact around the remains point shaped like having been scraped away evenly and cut into at rights. Moreover, the remains were found at one turning in the loop road. It was a slate palette incusing a thing like a letter. A line where the sign of the cross was made and a V-line are incused on this slate palette about 25 centimeters square and 2 centimeters thick made of a grainy shale, and on it there are two holes. This slate palette was examined by 11 researchers such as archaeologists and biologists. According to that report, the line and the holes can't be thought of as being traced by a living thing such as a seashell. Most of the researchers subscribe to the view that it should be regarded as an artifact because the trace appears manmade. As an instance similar to this one, 12 slate palettes with a line drawing carved into the rock were found in Okinawa's main island, which are called the “Rosetta stones of Okinawa” and are still indecipherable. Could there be some relations between these slot palettes called an ancient letter of Ryukyu and the slot palette resting in the sea bed ?
