It is a Plasma Anthropology Museum which is located in Toyokita-cho, Yamaguchi. The Doigahama Remains in Yamaguchi where more than 300 human bones were found at Yayoi Period. The bones of Yayoi man which were found here will give us important data when we think of the origin of Japanese people or the character change with Jomon man. Matsushita Takayuki Director has been engaged in researching the coming over of Yayoi man such as the cooperative research and opening of a symposium with Chinese researchers centering on the Doigahama here over a long time The big monument at the entrance designed a Gohouragai where was handed down from Okinawa, many ones were found at this remains. According to a armlet of shells, it symbolizes that Yamaguchi was connected with Okinawa in the ancient “the road of shell”.
