| The Pinzaabu Cave Man whose borns are older than the Minatogawajin was found at Uenoson, Miyakojima Island. They are people of about 26000 years ago. At present, the tools which become a key we know their lives in those days weren't found at the remains, so we cannot observe the situation of their lives concretely. But, the fossils such as deers, snakes and Iriomote wild cats were found at the remains, too, so it is attracting their attention as an important data in the paleontology and the archaeology. There was a time that the Japanese archipelago had been tied with the Asia Continent by land by a land bridge in the update generation (1,700,000 to 10,000 years ago) . At this time, it can be shown that a primitive man, an ancient type of Homo sapiens (Old man) crossed. The fossil man's bone represented by Minatogawajin belongs to the modern type Homo sapiens (New man), the Pinzaabujin which is a man’s bone of 20,000 years ago found at the southernmost of Japan is a very important existence when we know the history of human in the Japanese archipelago and the history of Miyako. | |
