| A devil ray belongs to the sea devil family. A manta swims gracefully and calmly. It is a kind of fish most loved by many divers because it has a gentle temper, it preys on some planktons, it is over two meters in length and it is powerful. The tail of the manta is long and strong, so it was used as a “abdominal belt” by a pregnant woman in certain islands and it is a fish which was deified as a divine messenger in Okinawa. | |
