Stadium
There is a flat ground which has a diameter of 80m and is mostly round shaped, calledStadium” to southeast 500m and depth of 23m from ruins point. The circumference of a ground is surrounded with a stair-shaped structure and looks like it is the seat which overlooks a baseball field. Moreover, a square and small hole like a drain is dug deep there. Mr. Graham Hancock who is the author of “The fingerprint of Gods” and also famous for coverage of the trace of ancient civilization in every part of the world, has commented It seems like Colosseum at Roma” There are Kenko ruins of the Incaic Empire period in Peru of South America. At side of here, the ruins that were well alike in Stadium in Yonaguni Island have been left. The remains of a waterway dug in these ruins so that it might flow the a ground are left. It is surmised from this that this is not a stadium but the place which deified God of water. Furthermore, there is a close resemblance between the figure of this drain, and the figure in the Stadium of Yonaguni Island. It is said that the stone steps which cut off the rock were the places of faith of people in the Inca period. Such a common feature is very interesting because this Stadium suggests a possibility of having existed not as a mere stadium but as a place of faith.
