Upwells at Nakandakari Spring
You will spot many springs in Tamagusuku. Among them, Nakandakari Spring is a respectable stone-made spring where a large green island fig casts a leafy shade. It is found east of Tamagusuku Village*, traveling from Route 331 north on Prefectural Highway 137. If you decide to go farther, there is Kakinohana Spring. As you walk up the stone pavement in the shade of trees, the mystique of the place will surely render you speechless.
