Seeing Ie Island Afar
Motobu Town is one part of Motobu peninsula, which protrudes into the East China Sea in the northern region of mainland Okinawa. It is about an hour and half by car from Naha, and Prefectural Highway 116 on the west coast stretches all the way to the Okinawa Marine Expo Commemorative Park. Traffic slows down in spring to observe the bright red Taiwan cherry flowers on the roadside.
