Enjoying the Sea and Forest
Get off the highway and drive along Prefectural Road 14 from the Jin River in Nago all the way to Higashi Village. The village extends along the coast with Tsuha Mountain, Tamatsuji Mountain and Iyu Mountain on its back. Because 70 % of the village is occupied with forest area, the air is astoundingly refreshing. There are 14 rivers of varying size in the village.
