Beautiful Coastline Road in Ogimi
Ogimi is a small village in the northern region of Okinawa known as Yanbaru. It is situated 87 km north of Naha; as you drive along the west coast past Nago and begin to see the thick green forest, you have entered Ogimi Village. 76 % of the village is covered with subtropical rainforest, and the rivers and streams that run through the forest all combine to create an environment rich in nature. This forest is also considered significant for its biodiversity, as some of the world's most rare creatures make their habitat here.
