Ashagi, the God of Soukei District
One thing you notice upon walking around the settlement is the large number of prayer establishments. Some are made with fine front-guard frames, others with only rocks and stones, but you see them everywhere. In the Soukei district, lion-dogs sit at the entrance to the settlement to ward off evil spirits, and in the middle of the intersection is a traffic circle. Additionally, there is a place called "Kami Ashagi" near the Soukei Community Center to invite the guardian god of the village and hold festivals. It is merely a small building with six pillars and red-tiled roofing, yet it is absolutely indispensable for events of a sacred nature.
